Artisan Woodworking specializes in the design and fabrication of historical and contemporary furniture to fit any architectural style or decor. Our particular strength is our ability to work with our clients to create unique and functional furniture or cabinet pieces for that special place in the home or office.
We have created numerous large-scale installations, designing and building all of the built-in furniture cabinetry for an entire home or office ennvironment. Everything from the Kitchen cabinetry to the Entertainment Centers, Desks, Bookcases and bathroom Vanities– maintaining a continuity in design and craftsmanship throughout.
Artisan Woodworking has designed and executed projects as diverse as:
- An Antique Cherry Library that included a 10-foot long, trapezoidal-shaped Desk that fits into a Window Bay and a 15-foot long Cherry wall installation that includes a Curved Fireplace Surround and Mantel with Bookcases.
- A Wine Country Villa in a 17th-century Italian style– we designed and built all of the built-in furniture and cabinetry pieces for this 10,000 sq. ft. Tuscan-style Villa in Sonoma.
- A 19th-century Georgian-inspired solid Walnut Library with true-divided lite, diamond latticed Bookcase Doors.
- Various projects with a more Modern/Contemporary look, including an entire residential project in Palo Alto in a Post-Modern style, incorporating Bird’s Eye Maple and Black Lacquered Columns.
We have also created Chinese and Japanese-inspired installations and Post-Modern interpretations of various historical period styles.
